Valves have a large range of applications, both domestically and within industry, e.g. mining. Overtime, a layer of fouling can form inside pipelines. An example of this fouling is calcium carbonate, which is a very hard limescale formation. This fouling can build up to an extend that pipes and valves can stop working.
